Dr. Pradipta Ranjan Rauta is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Biological Sciences. He obtained his PhD in Life Science from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. During the course of doing his PhD, he also worked as a PhD mobility fellow at Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisboa, Portugal through Erasmus Mundus fellowship program. He started his career as a Research Scientist at Mazumdar Shaw Center for Translational Research, Bangalore. Subsequently, he received his postdoctoral training at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA. Prior to joining the AIPH University, he worked as a Scientist in the Molecular Biology division at Shriram Institute for Industrial Research, New Delhi. He has vast expertise in translational research spanning the following areas: nanotechnology, cell biology, proteomics, molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, in vivo study and bio techniques (instrumentation). His current research is focused on developing biomolecular engineering approaches for cancer/other disease diagnostics and therapeutics in the area of drug delivery and regenerative medicine. He has co-authored a book titled “Nanotechnology in Biology and Medicine: Research Advancements & Future Perspectives ” published with CRC Press | Taylor & Francis Group [Editors: Pradipta Ranjan Rauta, Yugal Kishore Mohanta, Debasis Nayak] ISBN 9780367200503 (2019).
